Amanda Roberts, Chorus Accompanist

Amanda Roberts has been the rehearsal accompanist for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus since 2012.  She is a staff accompanist for the Department of Music and Musical Theatre program at Wright State University, a private studio teacher, an active member of the Dayton Music Club, and a long-time church musician.  She also collaborates with students and faculty at the University of Dayton as well as other universities in the region and has performed as a pianist on several occasions with the United States Air Force Band of Flight.  Before coming to Dayton, Amanda received a Bachelor of Music in Percussion from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  She went on to study collaborative piano with Linda Perry at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIUE) and performed on several occasions with members of the St. Louis Flute Society.  While living in Louisiana, Amanda enjoyed performing regularly as a pianist and percussionist with the South Arkansas, Longview, and Shreveport Symphony Orchestras.
